AI phone answering · Calgary

An AI receptionist that answers when you can't.

When nobody can get to the phone, the AI picks up, answers questions, checks what's free and texts the caller a link to book. You get a summary of every call.

What it does on a call

  • Greets callers in your business's name and tells them up front that it's an AI assistant.
  • Answers the usual questions (hours, prices, directions, what's included) from your own information.
  • Checks live availability in your booking system or calendar.
  • Texts the caller a link to book that exact slot. They book and pay on their own phone, never over the call.
  • Hands anything unusual to a person, with a summary of the call so far.

You keep your phone number

Nothing changes for your customers. They call the number they always have. When your staff can't answer, the call forwards to the AI. You can have it cover only the busy times, or after hours too.

What it never does

  • It never takes card numbers. Payment happens through the secure link, so card details never reach the AI or a transcript.
  • It never promises what it didn't check. If your booking system didn't confirm a slot is free, it doesn't say it is.
  • It doesn't pass on spam. Robocalls and sales pitches don't reach your staff.
  • It doesn't make up policy. Refunds, complaints and anything out of the ordinary go to a person.

These rules are built into the system, not just written in its instructions, so it can't talk its way around them.

Every call is checked

When a call ends, a second AI reads the transcript, writes a short summary and flags anything that needs you: an upset caller, a request it couldn't handle, a possible mistake. You hear about it the same day by email or text, not weeks later from a customer.

Running for real

Running a campground means we're often out on the property helping guests, not sitting by the phone. Evan built us an AI phone agent that can answer questions about our campground and help callers even when we're busy. It's like having an extra person at the front desk without needing someone there all day. Evan really understood what our business needed.

Is it a fit for your business?

It works well when:

  • You miss calls while you're with customers, out on jobs or closed for the day.
  • Most calls are routine: availability, bookings, hours, directions, prices.
  • You have a booking system or calendar it can check.

It's a poorer fit when most calls need judgment, sensitive personal details or a long conversation. Even then, it can answer after hours and take a detailed message, which beats voicemail.

What it costs

A fixed price, agreed before I start, with no hourly billing. Tell me how your calls work today and I'll come back with what I'd set up, how long it takes and the price.

Questions

Will callers know they're talking to AI?

Yes. It says so at the start of the call. People speak more clearly to a system they know is automated, and nobody feels tricked when it passes them to a person.

What happens when it can't help?

It takes the caller's details and what they need, then sends you a summary so you can call back with the full picture.

Do you only work with Calgary businesses?

No. I'm based in Calgary and work with businesses across Canada, from Calgary to Canmore and Golden. Most of the setup happens remotely.

Have work that needs doing?

Tell me the problem in a few sentences. I'll come back with what I'd build, how long it would take and a fixed price.
